# IRON-KIDS K2 R46 release notes

## Objective

Bridge R45's registered open-surface scene to the original named DaDave source files with reproducible, measured placement transforms.

## Delivered

- **18** original named source files registered into the R45 adult assembly before the same K2 piecewise morph is applied.
- **30** assembly-coordinate K2 source-part exports including explicitly derived opposite-side files where R45 had generated mirrors.
- **22 / 81** source regions matched by unchanged triangle topology and edge geometry.
- **37 / 135** R45 registered components covered when generated mirrors are included.
- Maximum bidirectional anchor registration error: **0.000202 mm**.
- Transform matrices, component correspondence records, topology audit, CSV registry, previews, and rebuild source.

## What this fixes

R45 proved where 135 display surfaces belong, but did not solve the placement of the separately named source files. R46 recovers an exact rigid placement for the confirmed subset, applies that transform to the complete source file rather than only the matching outer component, and then applies the same R45 K2 morph.

## Topology boundary

The source files are not silently repaired. R46 records **29 watertight exports out of 30**. Files that remain open or nonmanifold are labeled that way. A successful placement transform is not a print-ready shell claim.

## Still open

- Match and register the remaining **59** source regions.
- Reconcile duplicate/alternate files and select definitive print candidates.
- Repair boundaries and nonmanifold topology without erasing Mk6 panel detail.
- Deliberately add wall thickness, split strategy, fastening interfaces, padding clearance, movement envelopes, and emergency release.
- Produce slicer-oriented files and physically print/measure coupons and assemblies.
- Register the digital suit to the actual K2 wearer; no body scan or child-worn validation exists.
