IRON-KIDS / K2 MEDIUM / R46

NAMED FILES.
EXACT PLACEMENT.
THE SOURCE
BRIDGE.

R45 proved where the assembled surfaces belong. R46 traces a confirmed subset back to DaDave’s original named source files, recovers their rigid assembly transforms, moves each complete file into place, and applies the same K2 morph.

01 / WHAT R46 CHANGES

Not another render pass. A measured connection back to the actual named files.

The assembled source and the individual source-part archives were published in different coordinate systems. R46 recovers the missing rigid transform by matching unchanged topology and invariant edge geometry.

01 / FIND

Split both meshes into connected regions.

Source-local files and the assembled Mk6 suit are compared component by component.

02 / MATCH

Prove identical geometry.

Triangle counts, topology, vertex neighborhoods, and unique triangle edge signatures identify exact candidates.

03 / REGISTER

Recover the rigid adult transform.

Every accepted anchor is checked against all vertices in both directions. The worst accepted maximum error is 0.000202 mm.

04 / MORPH

Move the complete file into K2.

The entire named source file—not only the matching outer patch—receives the adult transform and the same R45 K2 morph.

02 / COVERAGE PROOF

The cyan regions are the parts now tied back to named source files.

R46 covers 22 of 81 source regions and 37 of 135 registered R45 components after opposite-side derivations are counted. Unmapped armor stays visibly dark rather than being implied complete.

29 of 30 exports are closed solids.

The original named source files contain far more usable volume than the R45 outer-surface extraction showed. Twenty-nine exports load as watertight, consistently wound solids. The remaining neck export is consistently wound but has 38 boundary edges.

Still not print-qualified. Watertightness does not establish correct wall thickness, cavity clearance, split strategy, supports, retention, movement, strength, comfort, or child fit.

Search every registered source-part export.

The registry exposes source filename, lineage, zone, exact matched regions, triangle count, topology, transform error, file identity, and SHA-256.

06 / WHAT IS LEFT

R46 closes the placement gap for a real subset. It does not finish the suit.

59 SOURCE REGIONS

Complete the named-file mapping.

Match the remaining assembled regions, handle subset-only matches, and resolve alternate or duplicate files into a definitive retain/replace map.

CAD REPAIR

Turn source solids into deliberate wearable shells.

Repair the open neck, inspect hidden internal bodies, choose wall thickness, create keyed print splits, and preserve Mk6 surface detail.

ACTUAL K2 BODY

Register to measurements or a scan.

Joint centers, sightline, reach, clothing, EVA padding, growth range, motion envelope, don/doff, and power-off extraction are still unmeasured.

MECHANICAL INTERFACES

Design retention and releases.

Straps, hinges, bosses, fasteners, growth interfaces, edge treatment, anti-drop features, and manual emergency release are not yet integrated.

PRINT EVIDENCE

Slice, print, and measure.

Orientation, supports, material, mass, time, shrink, dimensional error, flex, impact, coatings, and hardware pullout need physical evidence.

ELECTRONICS

Fit and bench-test the chosen modules.

Chest and forearm cassettes, cable routing, thermal behavior, firmware builds, telemetry sessions, and bounded outputs remain separate integration work.

Next digital pass: extend exact source-file coverage beyond 22 regions, resolve alternates, and produce the first definitive closed-shell candidate set. Next physical gate: print fit coupons and register them to actual K2 measurements before claiming a wearable assembly.
